Path: Diesel Engine→HD Volvo(V.7.21)→Mack/Volvo OBD16→Auto Detect→EMS Engine Management System→Actuation Test→Exhaust Aftertreatment System, Service Regeneration→Diesel Particulate Filter Service Regeneration.

Select “Mack/Volvo OBD16”;

Select “Auto Detect”;

Select “EMS Engine Management System”;

Select “Actuation Test”;

Select “Exhaust Aftertreatment System, Service Regeneration”;

Make sure you go through the instructions carefully before clicking “OK” ;

Select “Diesel Particulate Filter Service Regeneration”;

Read the instructions carefully before clicking “OK”;

Please read the following message carefully before clicking “OK”;

Click “Start” to start the regeneration process. Please note the engine speed would increase, the DPF outlet temperature and the exhaust gas temperature will rise to a point and stabilize when the regeneration process has been initiated.

These all are the indication that the DPF regeneration is taking place.

When the engine speed drops and stabilizes or when the DPF level shown on the instrument panel falls to zero, click “back” to exit the regeneration process as it’s been finished.

Press "stop" to exit the process early if need be.
