Vacuum pump oil change
The oil of the vacuum pump must be changed frequently in order to assure higher performances of the unit (accumulate 100 working hours). Normally the vacuum pump oil will be changed at same time of filter replacement.
To change the oil, follow carefully these instructions:
- Disconnect the unit from the power supply.
- Prepare a container to collect used oil from drain port
- Open the vacuum pump oil cap and open drain bolt to discharge the oil contained in the vacuum pump.
- When the pump is empty, close drain port and open the upper cap.
- Fill the pump with the oil through the upper hole. Check the oil level in the pump
- through the inspection side windows; level has to reach the sight glass middle line.
- When the pump is filled, close the upper cap
