Path: Diesel Heavy Vehicle→HD Volvo (V7.21)→Mack/Volvo OBD16→Auto Detect→Actuation Test→Classification by Function→Diesel Particulate Filter Service Regeneration.

Select “Mack/Volvo OBD 16”;

Select “Auto Detect”;

Click “Confirm”;

Select “Actuation Test”;

Select “Classification by Function” ;

Select “Diesel Particulate Filter Service Regeneration”;

Please read the instructions carefully before clicking “OK”;

Click “Service Regeneration Activation”;

Read the following instructions carefully and make sure the preconditions are met before clicking “OK”.

Click “ON” to start the regeneration process. Please note the engine speed would increase, the DPF outlet temperature and the exhaust gas temperature will rise to a point and stabilize when the regeneration process has been initiated.

These all are the indication that the DPF regeneration is taking place.

When the engine speed drops and stabilizes or when the DPF level shown on the instrument panel falls to zero, click “BACK” to exit the regeneration process as it’s been finished.

Press "OFF" to exit the process early if need be.
